Black Series Gaming Greats Darth Nihilus
Darth Nihilus is one of the most mysterious and fearsome Sith Lords in the Star Wars Expanded Universe, prominently featured in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II. Known as the Lord of Hunger, Nihilus began as a human survivor of the catastrophic Mass Shadow Generator event at Malachor V during the Mandalorian Wars. The immense suffering and destruction at that battle transformed him into a wound in the Force, leaving him with an insatiable hunger for Force energy that defined his existence.
His condition forced him to feed on the life force of others, not only draining individuals but eventually consuming entire planets, such as the Miraluka world of Katarr. Unlike most Sith, his goal was not domination or rule, but simply to satisfy his endless hunger. Over time, this relentless consumption destroyed his physical body, leaving him as a dark entity bound to his iconic mask and black robes.
Nihilus was trained by Darth Traya and eventually became a leading member of the Sith Triumvirate, playing a key role in the First Jedi Purge. His terrifying power and unique nature—lacking physical form and motivated solely by hunger—make him a haunting symbol of the corruptive potential of the dark side, more force of nature than man.

The Hasbro Star Wars The Black Series Gaming Greats Darth Nihilus action figure is a highly detailed 6-inch collectible inspired by the character as he appears in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II – The Sith Lords. It accurately captures Darth Nihuls’s distinctive appearance, featuring his signature skeletal mask, dark hooded robes, and menacing red lightsaber. The Figure boasts premium articulation – with multiple points of movement for dynamic posing and intricate paint applications for accuracy. Th sculpt includes detailed textures to emulate Nihilus’s tattered black robes and haunting presence from the game.
Part of the Gaming Greats sub-line. Accessories include a red bladed lightsaber and removable hooded cape. This release is a favorite among fans for it representation of the Expanded Universe.
Revealed in September 2020 as a GameStop exclusive. It would later be rereleased as a fan channel exclusive. The rerelease was announced in mid 2024 and available from retailers in July 2025.
